All forestry trailers of BMF range now have EU whole-vehicle type-approval with regard to EU regulation no 167/2013, which means that it is allowed to use BMF trailers on public roads in all the EU countries EU’s neighbouring countries that apply the regulation.
The main purpose of the EU legislation is to ensure that new vehicles, components and separate technical units provide a high level of safety and environmental protection. To comply with the regulations, trailers need to be equipped with dual-circuit brakes, lights and reflectors that correspond to the requirements and tyres of a specific size.
Type-approved trailers carry type-approval plates and maximum speed of a type-approved trailer on public roads is 30 km/h.
