Protected cylinders

The hydraulic cylinders are securely hidden inside the robust support legs of BMF trailers.

Stability

Cranes are positioned lower on BMF trailers to reduce the centre of gravity, and on most models the support legs are mounted directly to the trailer frame. Wide wheel spacing and balancing beams help the trailer stay steady and move smoothly on rough terrain.

In-house manufacturing control

BMF produces metal details in-house (and many other components as well) to maintain consistent quality and durability across the machine.

Protected oil pump

BMF trailers have a robust drawbar with a unique design that protects the oil pump. The oil pump is securely hidden inside the drawbar.

Strength-analysed frame design

BMF trailer frames are engineered according to load distribution and validated through thorough strength analysis for demanding forestry work.

Robot-welded construction

High-quality robot welding and strategically positioned seams help the frame withstand rough terrain and heavy log loads over long service life.

All BMF single- and double-beam trailers feature strong safety grilles designed for everyday protection in forest conditions.

BMF trailers are optimized to be strong yet lightweight, using Strenx® performance steel and SSAB-certified design and material specifications

Flexible drawbar connection

Multiple drawbar eye options and two drawbar heights help achieve smooth, correct coupling with different tractors and setups. The drawbar can be mechanically locked to a fixed position for safer, more stable road transport.

EU whole-vehicle type approval

BMF forestry trailers have EU whole-vehicle type approval under Regulation (EU) 167/2013 for use on public roads in EU countries (and neighbouring countries applying the regulation).
