Two-wheeled platform trailer with capacity of up to 6 t

One of the smallest trailers in BMF range has a unique design that is characterized by one pair of wheels and a central platform frame with poles that have straight upper parts. This light-weight BMF trailer with A-type support leg has a loading capacity of 6 tonnes and loading area of 1.3 m2, making it perfect for private forestry and various tasks around the farm or household. Thanks to its compactness, BMF6T2 doesn’t require a large tractor or much storage space.

BMF trailers feature a robust hydraulic steering drawbar with a protected design that keeps the oil pump and hoses safely hidden inside. The drawbar can be mechanically locked for stable road transport and is available in 80 cm height, with multiple hitch options including K80.

Front Screen options

Standard

Robust safety screen that protects the tractor and crane area from shifting logs and debris during transport and loading. Fully compliant with EU requirements for safe road and forestry use. Reinforcement bar (fits between the grid and first stanchions), available as an optional accessory.

Support legs

A-type support legs

Hydraulically operated A-frame legs attached to the front screen for a compact, space-saving setup—ideal for narrow trails and working between trees.

Protected cylinders

The hydraulic cylinders are securely hidden inside the robust support legs of BMF trailers.

Powder-coated surface

Double-component powder coating provides a tough, scratch-resistant surface that protects against wear, tear and corrosion—supporting higher resale value.

Stability

Cranes are positioned lower on BMF trailers to reduce the centre of gravity, and on most models the support legs are mounted directly to the trailer frame. Wide wheel spacing and balancing beams help the trailer stay steady and move smoothly on rough terrain.

BMF produces metal details in-house (and many other components as well) to maintain consistent quality and durability across the machine.

Protected oil pump

BMF trailers have a robust drawbar with a unique design that protects the oil pump. The oil pump is securely hidden inside the drawbar.

Flexible drawbar connection

Multiple drawbar eye options and two drawbar heights help achieve smooth, correct coupling with different tractors and setups. The drawbar can be mechanically locked to a fixed position for safer, more stable road transport.

EU whole-vehicle type approval

BMF forestry trailers have EU whole-vehicle type approval under Regulation (EU) 167/2013 for use on public roads in EU countries (and neighbouring countries applying the regulation).
