BMF12T2

Two-beam trailer with capacity of up to 12 t

One of the most prominent characteristics of this versatile trailer is its robust construction. The loading beams of BMF12T2 are made of especially tough Strenx steel from Swedish provider SSAB. In addition, the main load-bearing frame is constructed of two 200x100 mm pipes with increased wall-thickness of 8 mm. To put it simply, the trailer has been optimized to be strong yet light thanks to special steel. Robustness of the BMF12T2 trailer is further supported by its uniquely designed drawbar that fully protects the oil pump, which is hidden inside of it.

Toolbox version

Extra-robust, forwarder-style safety screen with integrated toolboxes on both sides—ideal for storing essential parts and tools securely on the trailer and keeping the work area tidy for better visibility. Available only with PRO bolsters. Reinforcement bar (fits between the grid and first stanchions), available as an optional accessory.

Standard

Robust safety screen that protects the tractor and crane area from shifting logs and debris during transport and loading. Fully compliant with EU requirements for safe road and forestry use. Reinforcement bar (fits between the grid and first stanchions), available as an optional accessory.

The hydraulic cylinders are securely hidden inside the robust support legs of BMF trailers.

Stability

Cranes are positioned lower on BMF trailers to reduce the centre of gravity, and on most models the support legs are mounted directly to the trailer frame. Wide wheel spacing and balancing beams help the trailer stay steady and move smoothly on rough terrain.

Protected oil pump

BMF trailers have a robust drawbar with a unique design that protects the oil pump. The oil pump is securely hidden inside the drawbar.

EU whole-vehicle type approval

BMF forestry trailers have EU whole-vehicle type approval under Regulation (EU) 167/2013 for use on public roads in EU countries (and neighbouring countries applying the regulation).
